OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES

Grenadian Honey Tasting Experience

What you will do

We will be learning about the different varieties of honey, the process by which it is made, and the different flavor tones that honey can have. You will sample at least five varieties of honey, from producers across the island including cinnamon, soursop, ginger, mace and nutmeg flavours. You will learn about the importance of bees, their way of life and a whole lot more about different products we can make out of honey. By the end of this experience, guests should have a greater appreciation for Grenadian artisan honey and the unique characteristics that accompany this genre of food.

Very informative and fun experience. Learned about Grenada’s history of cacao and chocolate making directly from the grower, owner and chocolate maker. We enjoyed cocoa tea, nutmeg infused honey, and made chocolate bars before heading down the hill to explore the St. George spice market.
