Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Welcome to our FAQ section! Here, you’ll find comprehensive answers to common questions about visiting the Tri-Island Chocolate Factory for our guided tours. We want to ensure your experience is enjoyable, safe, and truly unforgettable. Please review these details before your visit.
Tour Details & Logistics FAQ
How Long is the Tour? Each guided tour lasts approximately fifty minutes. This allows ample time for you to explore, ask questions, and, most importantly, enjoy delicious chocolate tastings! Our goal is to provide a comprehensive yet engaging experience for every guest.
How Many People Can Join Each Tour? Each tour accommodates up to 4 people, ensuring a personalized and intimate experience. If you’re interested in booking a tour for a larger group, please give us a ring directly at +1 473 410 2462. We are happy to discuss custom arrangements for bigger parties.
What Should I Wear to the Tour? There is a fair amount of walking involved during our guided tour, including stairs up to the viewing platform and walkway. These may pose a difficulty for persons with mobility restrictions. Therefore, we highly recommend wearing comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes and avoiding dangling jewelry for your safety. As we operate a food manufacturing plant, you will also be provided with a hairnet to wear inside the factory. The temperature in the warehouse can be a little chilly, so you may consider bringing a sweater or a light jacket for your comfort.
Do You Have Parking? There is no designated parking directly outside the factory. Consequently, we advise guests to park along the road before the factory entrance or, for a more authentic experience, take a local bus. Grenada’s public transport is an excellent way to travel!
Booking & Access Information FAQ
How Far in Advance Do I Need to Book a Tour? We recommend booking your tour well in advance to guarantee your preferred time and day. Reservations may be made up to 90 days in advance. You can make your reservation conveniently online here to secure your spot. For weekends and holidays, we specifically recommend booking 2-3 weeks ahead. However, we do hold a few spots daily for same-day, walk-in reservations, subject to availability. If you require assistance, please contact us at +1 473 404 2182.
Can I Take Photos? We encourage you to capture memories during your visit! You are welcome to take as many photos and videos as you like in our retail area and classrooms. However, for safety and hygiene reasons, glass is strictly prohibited in our food plant. Therefore, cell phones and cameras are not permitted on the production walkway. You will be assigned a secure locker with a personal number code to safely stow your items while you are on the tour.
Can I Take My Cell Phone and Personal Belongings on the Tour? No, for safety and hygiene reasons, personal belongings, including cell phones and cameras, must be stored in our lockers. Each guest will be given a secure locker to stow their personal items before embarking on the factory portion of the tour. This ensures a safe environment for both our visitors and our chocolate production process.
